Ronnie James Dio – Dead at 67
May 17th, 2010One of the all time great front men and one of my personal favourites passed away today from complications with stomach cancer.
I saw RJD with Sabbath during the Mob Rules Tour in the early 80′s. One of the best concerts to this day I ever had the pleasure of attending (although I caught the tour a couple of years ago and it was almost as good). All in all I saw Dio in concert 6 times. Whether it was Elf, Rainbow, Sabbath or on his own it was all good and will be remembered as one of the best front men EVER!
